Jeanette Weeks entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 after many years of faithful service to her Lord and Savior. She was 91.

Jeanette was greeted by her husband, Roy Weeks after 13 years apart, and her beloved children Martha Salter, Danny Weeks, Vickie Jones and infant son Timothy Ray Weeks all who she had missed dearly. She leaves behind her 7 loving children ,Sue Miller , Jackie Parrish (Emmett), Ellen Odom (Don), Mike Weeks (Jessie), all of Kinston, Larry Weeks (Dewanda) of Opp, Nancy Jones (Glen) of Enterprise, and Jimmy Weeks of Kinston, her sister Frankie Wyrosdick of the Basin Community along with 22 Grandchildren and 32 Great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

Jeanette spent her life adoring her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was adored by them and they certainly rose and called her blessed. She loved by the definition of Proverbs 31 in her loyalty, service and care of her family. She was quick to blame AGE on any ailment or circumstance even in her final days and found much humor in doing so. Her legacy will live on as an inspiration in the hearts and minds of her family and anyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at Weeks Memorial Assembly of God Church in the Lowery Community with burial in the Weeks Cemetery on Tuesday, June 14 at 11am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Elba Nursing Home for the excellent care provided to our precious one that you lovingly called MawMaw. She came to love each of you dearly and your love for her was obvious in everything you did for her. Thank you to the staff of DaySpring Hospice for providing peace and comfort during her final days.

The family will be at the home of Mike and Jessie Weeks 881 County Road 20 Kinston, AL.
