Jennifer Black Pridgen of Childersburg, AL passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.  She was 54.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Randall Pearson and Rev. Leon Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at New Home Congregational Church Cemetery, Plywood Mill Rd. River Falls, AL. with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  

Jennifer was a loving, caring wife, mother and a wonderful daughter. She had a heart as big as the world. She was compassionate, strong willed, and was there any time her friends needed her. She worked several years in Enterprise at Medical Center Enterprise as a labor and delivery nurse. Hospice was very special to her and as a Hospice nurse, she took care of both of her grandmothers. “Doll” as she was lovingly called by her husband, will be dearly missed.

Survivors include husband, Jason Gary Pridgen, Childersburg, AL; daughter, Jacey Ryan Pridgen, Childersburg, AL; son Joshua Gary Pridgen, Childersburg, AL; bonus son Jeremy David Pridgen, Headland, AL; parents , Jimmy and Linda Black, Enterprise, AL; brother, Timothy Michael Black (Tiffany), New Brockton, AL.
