Mrs. Jennifer Snellgrove Buie, a lifelong resident of Dothan passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, peacefully at her residence with her family by her side. She was 69.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery (431 North) with Dr. Ricky Plummer & Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday night.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Jennifer was born November 17, 1953, in Dothan to the late J. Douglas “Doug” & Cathlene Napier Snellgrove. She was a 1972 graduate of Dothan High School. Jennifer worked as a bookkeeper, retiring from APAC after 27 years. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Stephen Snellgrove.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil Buie; a daughter, Katie Martin (Chris) of Dothan; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Martin, and Madison Martin, both of Dothan; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Herndon (Sam) of Chattahoochee, FL, Darryl Buie, and Mary Buie both of Webb.

The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff for their care, along with extended family and friends for their prayers and support during the last year.
