Jerry Allen Thompson, a resident of Ashford, AL passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was 65.
Per his request, no formal services will be held at this time.
Jerry was born on January 1, 1956 in Dale County, Alabama to James and Gladys Thompson. He began painting at the age of 13. At the time of his passing, he was the lead painter for Fair Price Painting. Jerry enjoyed karate and grilling out with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dale Thompson.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Thompson; his sons, Joe Thompson, and Phillip (Jamie) Thompson; his granddaughter, Katie Thompson; his brother, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Thompson; his sister, Kathy (Mark) Tavner; his niece, Ashley Tavner; his nephews, William Thompson and Kenneth “Kenny” Thompson; his K-9 companions, “Daddy’s Girls” Maggie and Hope; and a host of extended family members.
