Mr. Jerry English of Westville, FL passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He was 79 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at West Pittman Baptist Church in Westville, FL with Rev. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. until service time. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. English was born on July 02, 1940 in Holmes Co., FL to the late Floyd and Lula Powell English. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his son Dewayne. Mr. Jerry was well known to his friends and family to enjoy a good joke and laughter. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a foreman for Stanton Church Furniture Company for 42 years. He helped build and oversaw the production of many church pews over his years of employment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Colin and Ferrell English.

Mr. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley English of Westville, FL; three sons, Dewayne English of Westville, FL, Stacey English (Christy) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Craig English (Amanda) of Defuniak Springs, FL; one grandson, Brason English (Jolene) of Gainesville, FL; one brother, Kelly English of Geneva, AL; and one sister, Merle Motley (Cecil) of Westville, FL.
