Jerry L. Warren of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was 83 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Joe Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Jerry was born in Geneva County, AL on May 30, 1940, to the late Willie E. and Willie Maud Kelly Warren. Jerry was a successful lifelong farmer. He was a very determined, hardworking, and loyal man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, wood working, and cattle farming. Mr. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Warren (Peggy) and Ralph Warren; sisters-in-law, Donnie Mae Ellenburg (Ralph), Ollie Faye Chandler (John), and Madelyn Bowden (Charles); brothers-in-law, Luvoie Strickland, Leroy Strickland, Bill Gautney, Johnny Hanes, and Donnie Preachers.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Dorothy Strickland Warren of Coffee Springs, AL; one son, Glenn Warren (Laura) of Samson, AL; one daughter, Renee Sellers (Donnie) of Westville, FL; grandchildren, Lyle Warren (Katie) of Geneva, AL, Shea Berry (Blake) of Elba, AL, Madison Sellers, and Megan Sellers of Westville, FL; great grandchildren, Tyce Warren, Tucker Warren, Tyler Grae Warren of Geneva, AL, and Hailey Berry of Elba, AL; brother, Lex Warren of Samson, AL; sisters-in-law, Jean Phillips (Havard) of Samson, AL, Sandra Gautney of Samson, AL, Evie Hanes (Jim) of Bonifay, FL, Shirley Preachers of Samson, AL, and Kate Strickland of Samson, AL; special childhood friend, Reba Howell of Chancellor, AL; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
