KINSEY. . .Jerry M. Douglas, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, died late Friday night, November 27, 2020, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility. He was 79.

       A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

       Mr. Douglas born and reared in Kinsey, son of the late Troy A. Douglas and Ola Lee Kelly Douglas. He was a graduate of Ashford High School and lived in Kinsey most of his lifetime. Mr. Douglas was formerly employed at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant and also in the grocery business. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

       Surviving relatives include two daughters, Tabitha Douglas Weik and Marina Curameng, a brother, M C Douglas (Sarah), a sister in law, Jeanette Douglas, all of Kinsey; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Charlotte Renea Duke, Kinsey.
