Jesse E. Cobb, age 75 of Dothan, passed away early Monday morning, December 28, 2020, while in his home and under the care of Kindred Hospice.


Funeral services for Mr. Cobb will be held at 1pm Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at the church on Thursday. COVID protocols will be in place to help ensure health and safety of those in attendance.


Mr. Cobb was born September 2, 1945 in Dothan to the late Albert and Roxie Hayes Cobb. Apart from the time spent honorably serving our country in the US Army, Mr. Cobb lived all his life in Dothan. For many years he worked for Hayes Dairies, Flavor Rich and retired from Dairy Fresh. He was also engaged in his own hog farming business for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his four-legged companions, and tending to his goats. Mr. Cobb was of the Baptist faith.


Survivors include two sons, David Cobb of Panama City Beach, FL, and Randy Cobb of Dothan; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Fuller of Panama City, FL; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gene and Evelyn Cobb of Dothan and Jim Cobb of MS; a sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and MC Douglas of Kinsey. Mr. Cobb is also survived by two grandchildren, Brody Fuller and Sydney Fuller, both of Panama City, FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
