Mr. Jessie L. Perdew of Chancellor passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Enterprise Medical Center.  He was 57.

Mr. Perdew was born January 8, 1957 in Guilford County, North Carolina to the late James Leonard and Nellie Blum Perdew. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alton and David; and his son, Jessie Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Black Perdew of Chancellor, AL; his children, Annie Perdew Coble (Daniel), Christopher Lee Perdew (Crystal), all of North Carolina, Nena Sanders of Andalusia, AL, and Angela Davis of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Roy Boyd Perdew (Peggy) of North Carolina.
