Mr. Jimmy Lee Barker of Geneva, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his residence. He was 70 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Shawn Crosby officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 12300 Twinbrook Parkway, Suite 410 Rockville, MD 20852.

Mr. Barker was born on January 26, 1948 in Enid, OK to the late Ernest and Ethel Ging Barker. He worked with computers at Fleming Foods in Geneva for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Mr. Barker was a member of Westside United Methodist Church in Geneva. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Carol Reeves Barker and his brother, Billy Barker.

He is survived by his daughter, Michel Leigh Mayo (Norman R.) of Enterprise; one sister, LaDonna Davis of Freeburg, IL; and two grandchildren, Megan and Gavin Mayo.
