Mr. Jimmy Walter Huggins passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at his home in Geneva at the age of 72. 

Jimmy was born July 30, 1950 to Mr. A.E. Huggins and Ms. Mary Huggins. He graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1968. 

Jimmy, along with Mr. Bob Simmons, opened Reliable Seating in the early 1970’s. He enjoyed this outdoor aluminum business until his retirement in 2017. Jimmy also had a love for classic cars; more specifically Mopar cars. He enjoyed restoring them and showing them at car shows. Currently, his latest project and favorite Mopar car is a 1969 Dodge Swinger. Jimmy loved driving it through Geneva parades, proud of its bright, orange paint color.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lynn King Huggins; his daughter, Haley Huggins; and son Tadd Huggins of Orange Park, Florida. Siblings include: brother Dennis Huggins of Geneva, and sister Nina Lisenby of Dothan. Also surviving are his beloved niece and nephews including special great nephews, Brigham and Baylor McKnight.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Douglas Wayne Huggins.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 1 pm followed by funeral service at 2 pm at Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Geneva. Burial will follow at Poplar Head Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward officiating.

Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Jimmy’s memory.
