CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA…Jimmy Wayne Money, a resident of Charleston, South Carolina, formerly of Columbia, Alabama, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 1, 2021, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home in Charleston. He was 76.

   Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. (CDT) Friday, September 3, 2021, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Headland, Alabama, with Reverend Ray Cobb officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the service.

   Jimmy Money was born and reared in Houston County, Alabama, son of the late Henry David Money and Ilene Wilson Money. He lived most of his life in Columbia and Webb, Alabama before moving to Charleston, South Carolina in 2018. Jimmy was formerly employed by Extendicare in Dothan and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Headland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Hand Money, and a sister, Betty Jean Crawford.

   Surviving relatives include his step-daughter, Renae Snellgrove, Dothan, AL; two step-sons, Rev. Ray Cobb (Kay) and James Cobb (Lynn), all of Webb, AL; two sisters, JoAnn Cantrell, Summerville, SC; and Brenda Ashworth (Chip), Atlanta, GA.
