Jo Ann Sasser Mock of Samson, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She was 71 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Brenda Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Weeks Memorial Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Mock was born on July 30, 1948. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Sasser.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Archie Dwyett Mock of Samson; one son, John Marcus Whigham (Tammy) of Opp; two step children, Amanda Smith (Bobby) of Geneva, and Phil Mock (Donna) of Westville; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; mother, Josephine Thomas of Tyler, TX; one sister, Jennie Parker (Charlie) of Opp; one brother, Melvyn Sasser of Opp; and many nieces and nephews.
