ABBEVILLE. . .Jo Ann Money Morris, a resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 2023, in Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. She was 84.

            There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Jo Ann Morris was born in Abbeville and was reared in Panama City, Florida. She lived in various locations in the United States while her former husband served in the Air Force. Jo Ann moved to Thomas Mill Creek in Henry County on Lake Eufaula in 1986. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Howell Money, her mother, Nadine Griggs Money Phillips, a daughter, Ramona Denise Kirby, a granddaughter, Heather Marie Kirby, her step-father, Arbie Jackson Phillips, a brother, Jerry Money and her longtime companion, Clark Ketcham.

            Surviving relatives include grandchildren, Sara Kirby Muratori, Aaron Michael Kirby and Rachel Kirby Keller, six great-grandchildren, a niece, Darlene Money and a nephew, Dewayne Money (Traci), a special friend, Gary Ketcham and his wife, Lettie.
