Joanne Godwin Grimsley, age 90, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at her home. 

Private Graveside services will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Duhaime officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M, Friday, September 16, 2022. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Grimsley and grandson, Grant Chandler Grimsley.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Grimsley, Enterprise, AL; two sons, Greg Grimsley, Dothan, AL; Eddie Grimsley (Maria), Madison, AL; two sisters, Janice Austin, Chancellor, AL; Vicky Gleason (Rick), Coos Bay, OR; three grandchildren, Amanda Koontz (Matt), Nashville, TN; James E. Grimsley, III (Kim), Duluth, MN; Garrett Grimsley, Madison, AL; two great-grandchildren, Lily and JoAnna; two brothers, Van Godwin, Daleville, AL; Danny Godwin, Daleville, AL.
