Mrs. Jodi Michele Wilks Commander of Westville, FL passed away on Monday, July 01, 2019. She was 47.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 05, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Scott Crooms officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Jodi was born on March 11, 1972 in Enterprise, AL to Max Neil Wilks and Brenda Pam McGill Sanders. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She loved her boys immensely. Jodi loved to laugh, joke around and make memories with her family. She also loved animals and helping them anyway she could. Going to the cabin and watching Auburn Tiger football games were among her favorite memory makers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Calvin Commander of Westville; two sons, Dustin Alred and Bractin Commander both of  Westville; father, Max “Bucky” Wilks (Tamar) of Geneva; mother, Pam Sanders of Enterprise; two step-sons, Brandon Commander and Zack Commander of Westville; one sister, Jennifer Wilks Crowe (James) of Geneva; one brother, Brock Wilks (Fierra) of Geneva; three grandchildren, Emily, Morgan, and Cade; nieces and nephews, Alexys Danley, Aubrey Wilks, Bryer Wilks, and Kahlea Smith; great niece, Sophia Grace Danley; and a host of special cousins, and friends.
