We are heartbroken to share that we have lost our beloved Joe Leddon. He passed at home with his wife of 53 years, Paula Leddon.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Ross Mothershed officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Joe was born in Crenshaw County on March 10, 1950 as the 3rd child of James and Helen Leddon. He graduated from Coffee Springs High School in 1968. Joe married the love of his life, Paula Normal on November 29, 1969 in Jonesboro, Georgia. They had their son, Michael Sean Leddon, in 1973. They spent 53 years as best friends enjoying life and family together. Joe and Paula built their family and several businesses together while supporting each other through the ups and downs of life. Joe was an avid sports fan. He was very involved in coaching his son, Michael in his earlier years. Joe also loved watching his grandsons play sports. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing Rook.

Joe is survived by his wife Paula, his daughter-in-law, Natasha Leddon (Michael’s widow), 4 grandsons, Champ, Clark, Cage and Colt, his siblings, Linda (Elliot) Gibson, Rae Leddon (Widow of Frank), June Jones (widow of Buddy), Richard (Cathy) Leddon, Ronald Leddon (Widower of Jackie), Regina (Delone) Weeks, several nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Leddon, his parents James and Helen Leddon, his sister, Brenda Faye Leddon, brothers Frank Leddon and Terry Leddon, brother-in-law Buddy Jones and Sister-in-law Jackie Leddon.
