HEADLAND. . .Joe Ed Hamm, a resident of Headland, died Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2020. He was 63.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2020, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, near Headland, with Pastor Evan Kohen officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Bethlehem Baptist Church “Building Fund”, 2506 State Highway 134, East, Headland, AL 36345.
Joe Ed Hamm was born and reared in Headland, son of the late Henry Byrd “Buddy” Hamm and Virginia Kirkland Hamm. He lived most of his lifetime in Headland where he was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include a son, and three sisters, Wanda Hamm Stacey (Gary), Jane Hamm Folds, all of Headland; and Beth Hamm, Lake Seminole, GA; five brothers, Billy Wayne Hamm (Cindy), Randy Hamm (Angela), all of Headland; Sam Hamm (Jill), Tumbleton Community; Danny Hamm, Monroeville, AL; and David Hamm, Headland; aunts, Nell Ward, Sandra Johnson, Martha Jean Klemptner and Catherine Fennell; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
