Joe Henderson Brunson

Joe H. Brunson, age 73 of Ashford died early Tuesday morning November 13, 2018 in a local hospital.

His wish for a simple cremation is being orchestrated by Family First Funeral & Cremation Care of Dothan.

Mr. Brunson was born in Donalsonville, Ga., son of the late Drew H. Brunson and Ila Glass Brunson.  He had lived most of his lifetime in Houston County and was a truck driver having most recently worked for Shelley Trucking, Inc. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James H. Brunson, 2 sisters Myrtle Rice and Margaret Cook.

Survivors include his son Jody Brunson, his daughter Candy (Greg) Anderson all of Dothan, 2 brothers Charles (Carol) Brunson of Abbeville, Marty (Brenda) Brunson of Ashford, 2 sisters Barbara (Greg) Rabon of Blakely, Ga., Druscilla (Micky) James of Dothan and a granddaughter Kelsey Anderson.
