Joel Lynn Bullock Joel Lynn Bullock, age 72, of Ashford was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 following a courageous battle with cancer. At his request, Family First Funeral Care provided a Simple Cremation and a Memorial Service will be held at a later time. Mr. Bullock served in the Vietnam War with the 2nd Infantry Division, was a Houston County Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer for the City of Dothan and retired as a Teleconference Facilitator at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Mr. Bullock is preceded in death mother, Hilda Skipper Ashe and his father, Paul Bullock. Survivors include his beloved wife, Norma (JoJo) Bullock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Tamara Bullock of Ouagadougou, Africa and Kevin and Sarah Bullock of Helena, AL; a stepson and his wife, Alan and Dorothy Hale of Jefferson, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Debbie Bullock of Inman, SC. Six grandchildren, Justice Bullock, Robert Bullock, Cash Bullock, Kingston Bullock, Alec Hale and Zack Hale. An uncle, as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive, to include a special aunt, Gladys Skipper. Additional information may be obtained at www.familyfirstfuneralcare.com.
