ABBEVILLE. . .Johanna Griffin Stein, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, died Tuesday afternoon, August 31, 2021, in a Eufaula hospital. She was 80.

   Memorial services will be held at a later date at the family residence.

   Mrs. Stein was born and reared in Akron, Ohio. She lived most of her adult lifetime in North Miami, Florida before moving to Henry County, Alabama in 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanton Stein, a daughter, Stacey Jacquelyne Stein, her parents, Lawrence Griffin and Johanna Gardine, and a brother, George Griffin.

   Surviving relatives include a daughter, Jacquelyne Stein (Michael Roberson), and a son, Scott Stein, all of Abbeville; a brother, Dennis Griffin, Ocala, FL; five grandchildren, Mikey Roberson, Liz Pallais, Naima Blanco, Stella Pallais and Ariel Roberson.
