John Benton McLaney of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his home.  He was 80.

          Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 27, 2012 at New Brockton City Cemetery with Rev. Dave Walsh and Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.      

          Survivors include his wife, Carmen McLaney, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Cindy Cherry (Doug) Ariton, AL; son, John McLaney (Beth) Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
