John (Bo) Thomas, born March 21, 1966, won his battle with cancer at his home on Sunday, October 20, 2019. He was 53.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Revs. Stanley Key, Stanley Jackson, Ronnie Reid and Ruby Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Encompass Hospice, 5 N Pointe Pkwy Ste. D, Enterprise, AL 36330 or Cancer Centers of America, 600 Celebrate Life Pkwy, Newnan, GA 30265.
Bo was owner of A and B Starters, Alternators and Auto Repair in Enterprise, AL. He was a loving husband, Father, Son and PawPaw.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Anita Thomas, New Brockton, AL; 3 daughters, Amber Markwell (Richard), Enterprise, AL, Krista Thomas, New Brockton, AL, Jonna Thomas (Cody Reeves), New Brockton, AL; two grandchildren, Hayleigh Markwell and Preston Markwell both of Enterprise, AL; mother, Linda Lindsey (Foy), New Brockton, AL; 3 sisters, Jacqualyn Wood (Lamar), New Brockton, AL, Carolyn Dean (Tim), Enterprise, AL, Amy Thomas, Opp, AL; grandmother, Alice Stokes, Samson, AL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved.
