Mr. John Colon Hudson passed away Wednesday May 31, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was 74 years old.
John was born May 19, 1949 in Opp, Alabama to the late Joe Lee and Erma Nell Hudson.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 5, 2023 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Homes directing.

He was our beloved patriarch who will be missed dearly. He has left us with many wonderful memories that we will cherish. He enjoyed many things such as making music, dove and quail hunting, fishing and was always ready with a good joke. He was a master builder and was very proud of the projects he completed in his career. John was a very honest person and his word was his bond! He leaves behind his great love, his wife of 30 years Bobbie. He will be greatly missed by anyone who was lucky enough to have known him.
