Mr. John Henry Crumpton Sr., a resident of Eufaula, Alabama passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at Russell Medical in Alexander City, Alabama. He was 89 years old.

John was born August 19, 1933, in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Walter Britt and Hettie Lee Toole Crumpton. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly. John really enjoyed boxing, gardening, and playing slots at the casino. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Thelma Crumpton; one brother and three sisters.

Survivors are two sons John Crumpton Jr. of Eufaula and Jarret (Renee) Crumpton of Eufaula; three daughters, Diane Champion of Eufaula, Debra (Randy) Sutton of Eufaula, and Lisa (Lee) Sells of Eufaula; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
