JOHN  DAVID  PARTRIDGE

 

ABBEVILLE. . .John David Partridge, a resident of County Road 57, North, Abbeville, died late Monday night, June 4, 2012, in a Dothan hospital. He was 56.

            Funeral services will be held at 6:30 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2012, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Matthew Quincey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 9, 2012, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 P.M. Friday at the mortuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to funeral expenses fund, c/o Old Zion Baptist Church, Edwina Will, 2634 County Road 57, North, Abbeville, AL. 36310.

            Mr. Partridge was born and reared in Odessa, Texas and formerly lived in Columbia before moving to Abbeville in 2011. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Partridge was retired, as a diesel technician, from Kenworth of Dothan, Inc. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Edwin Partridge and two brothers, Rex Partridge and Steve Partridge.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Bonnie Troxel Partridge, Abbeville; a step-daughter, Brandy Wise, Abbeville; three step-sons, Jacob Wise (Heather), Dothan; Lucas Wise (Jennifer), Cowarts, AL; and Zach Wise, Dothan; his mother, Elsie K. Partridge, Odessa, TX; three sisters, Katherine Walls (Roy) and Karen Ervin, all of Odessa, TX; Mary Shahan (Raymond), Pagosa, CO; ten grandchildren, Camdon Wise, Loriana Wise, Braden Wise, Nevaeh Wise, Alexia Wise, Isabel Wise, Jacob Deese, Nicholas Sheppard, Deanna Sheppard and Jimmy Keith; nieces, Connie Hunt, Lori Suffield and Jessica Shahan; nephews, David Walls and Cody and Danny Shahan.
