EUFAULA. . .John Earl James, a resident of Eufaula, died Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022, at his home. He was 79.

       Memorial services will be held at a later date. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

       Mr. James was a native of Barbour County and lived in the Eufaula area and White Oak Creek on Lake Eufaula most of his lifetime. He was a retired employee of Mead in Cottonton, Alabama. Mr. James was preceded in death by his father, Jessie  Porter James, his mother, Lois Paramore James and his brother, Mickey James.

       Surviving relatives include his wife, Sandy Money James; a son, Keith James (Kim Moore), all of Eufaula; three step-children, Don Trimnel (Donna), Jeffrey Kent and William P. Kent; two grandchildren, Cody James and Kaitlyn James, a great-granddaughter, Anna Bella Matarrese; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Georgiana Dramble.
