Mr. John Frank Wilks of Coffee Springs, Alabama, passed away, Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the age of 67.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, July 23, 2020 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with the Rev. Garry Winstead officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm in the chapel until funeral service time.

Frank was born July 22, 1952 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late James Curtis and Margaret (Peggy) O’Connor Wilks.  He proudly served his country in the US Air Force, and as a Federal Firefighter at Fort Rucker.  He was a very dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather. He was a successful business owner, who believed in working hard.  He loved to fish, have family gatherings, and would always enjoy a good joke. Frank met no stranger and had a love for all.

Survived by his loving wife of 48 years: Alisa J. Wilks, Coffee Springs, Alabama; three sons; Tod Wilks, Geneva, Alabama, Matt Wilks (Kim) Malvern, Alabama, Sam Wilks (Jami) Geneva, Alabama : Six grandchildren; Dillon, Ethan, Tyler, Trent, Lily and Levi;

One sister: Patsy Simmons (Bobby) Dothan, Alabama, Five brothers:  Bucky Wilks (Tamar) Geneva, Alabama, Michael Wilks (Janet) Enterprise, Alabama, Donald Ray Wilks (Debra) Geneva, Alabama, Terry Wilks (daughter Maci) Geneva, Alabama and Tommy Wilks (Mindy) Geneva, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
