JOHN  R.  TOOLE,  SR. 

DOTHAN. . .John R. Toole, Sr., a resident of  Dothan, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 26, 2012. He was 62.

            Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, January 29, 2012, in the First Presbyterian Church of Dothan with Reverend Rob Oates officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the church sanctuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 3012 West Main Street, Dothan, AL. 36305 or to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Memorial Chairperson, P.O. Box 2123, Dothan, AL 36302.

            Mr. Toole was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was reared in Dothan where he was a 1967 graduate of Dothan High School. He furthered his education by attending Troy University where he received a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Toole was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was self employed as the owner and operator of Dimensions in Design and Shutter Sense. Mr. Toole was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Warren Toole, Sr. and Helen Rouse Toole and a special nephew, Addison Toole.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Sharon Johnson Toole, Dothan; a daughter, Ashley Toole, Montgomery; a son, John Robert Toole, Jr., Montgomery; a sister, Susan Vaughan, Houston, TX; two brothers, Hubert W. Toole, Jr. and wife, Becky, Freeport, FL; and Martin Gary Toole and wife, Jill, Orlando, FL; his mother-in-law, Vivian Johnson, Dothan; sister-in-law, Glenice Johnson, Atlanta; a brother-in-law, Brad Johnson and wife, Vicki, Lubbock, TX; two nieces, Renee’ Kingsley and husband, Bill, Dallas, TX; Christine Chisum and husband, Mike, Dallas, TX; a nephew, Martin Gary Toole, Jr., Tuscaloosa, AL.
