John Thomas McBryde of Westville, FL passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019. He was 55 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Reedy Assembly of God Church with Pastor Danny Carnley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

John was born on January 15, 1964 in Geneva, AL to Charles McBryde and Martha Sue Thomas Locklear. John enjoyed working on cars, making and decorating peace pipes. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Faye McBryde, and one sister, Margie Marsh.

He is survived by his children, Heather McBryde of Ponce de Leon, FL, Stanley Duane Garrett of Pace, FL, Joshua Shane Garrett of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Jeffrey Thomas Garrett of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and Jessica Marie McBryde of Bunnell, FL; father, Charles E. McBryde of Jasper, AL; mother, Martha Sue Locklear of Westville, FL; grandchildren, Kyle, James, Damian, Carol-Lynn, Jeremy, Cherokee, Dakota, Landon, Garrett, Ryan, and Patrick; two brothers, Daniel Wayne Lindsey of Ponce de Leon, FL, and M.J. Locklear, Jr. of Bonifay, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
