John Wesley Scarbrough age 91, a former resident of Elba, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home in Robertsdale, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 27, 2018 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ray Layton officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery where military honors will be rendered in recognition of John’s service in the United States Army during World War II. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Saturday, October 27th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by a Sister - Queen L. McCleod, Montgomery, AL, and Brother - Billy Scarbrough of Winter Garden, Florida.

He was preceded in death his parents William Miles Scarbrough, and Ella Dora Elizabeth Scarbrough, by his wife Bonnie Lou Scarbrough, and later by his companion Retha Simmons.
