John William Gilbert, a resident of Webb, AL; died Monday, December 19, 2011, at Flowers Hospital. He was 79.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Gilbert, three children, Johnny L. Gilbert of Webb; Linda Pittman of Webb; Melissa McCullough of Rainbow City, AL; two sisters, Dorothy Wiggly and Kelly McDaniel, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
