JOHN WILLIAM “WILLIE” HILL

NEWVILLE.…John William “Willie” Hill, a resident of Newville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was 42.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory. At other times, the family will be at the home of his mother, Mary Riley, 11 Folmar Drive, Headland, Alabama 36345.

            Mr. Hill was born in Dothan, Alabama, but lived most of his life in the Headland & Newville, Alabama area. He had previously lived in Twin Falls, Idaho before returning to the Headland & Newville area more than twelve years ago. He was a farm hand and had worked with a few different farmers. He had also helped in his family’s monument and sandblasting business.

            Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughters, Kaylee Hill and Kinleigh Hill of Twin Falls, Idaho; his mother, Mary Ellen Hill Riley (James) of Headland, AL; his brothers, Michael Wayne Ham, Jr of Dothan, AL, James Allison Riley Jr. of Webb, AL, and Dustin Knight; his sisters, Sarah Marie Crews (Cleveland) of Hixson, TN, Amanda Ham of Dothan, AL, and Jennifer Peterman of Ashford, AL; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
