OZARK, ALABAMA. . .Johnathan Benjamin McGlothlin, a resident of Ozark, Alabama, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home. He was 57.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations, Headland, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements.

John McGlothlin was born in Ft. Pierce, Florida and was reared in Vero Beach, Florida. He lived in Orlando before moving to Dale County, Alabama in 2009. John was currently employed as a Team Leader 1 with Tractor Supply in Ozark. In earlier years, he worked in law enforcement. As a young man, John was an Eagle Scout. He loved his guns, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with “Daisy”.

Surviving relatives include his daughters, Elizabeth Farris (Marc), Owatonna, MN; and Amanda McGlothlin, Clermont, FL; his mother, Ann Murphy (James), Vero Beach, FL; and his father, Ken McGlothlin (Daphne), Vero Beach, FL; a sister, Tamara’ Webster (Dan), Ozark; a brother Shawn McGlothlin (Sabrina), Ft. Pierce, FL; two grandchildren, Blake Farris and Maryrose McGlothlin; several nieces and nephews, and his special canine friend, “Daisy”.
