Johnnie Dudley Hartley, 97, a resident of Ashford, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. William Irwin officiating.

Mrs. Hartley was born on August 19, 1921 in Cleveland, Tennessee and lived there the early years of her life. She moved to Sanford, Florida at the age of 14. She would then move to Ashford, where she has resided for the past 29 years.

Mrs. Hartley was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Woodrow W. Hartley and by her niece Sylvia Frazier.

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Betty Hopkins; her grandchildren, Scarlett Hopkins and Steven Hopkins; her 4 great grandchildren; her 9 great-great grandchildren; and her nephew, Wallace McCalley.
