Johnnie Mae Emfinger, 94, of Enterprise, AL passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church of Enterprise with Rev. Johnny Strickland, Rev. Kerry Mitchell and Dr. John Granger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the funeral home
Johnnie Mae was a loving and devoted mother and Memaw to her family. She was devoted to her husband as they ministered in churches in Coffee, Henry, Dale and Houston counties. She had an undeniable passion for serving the Lord and never missed an opportunity to share the love of Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Rev. Arthur Emfinger, a brother, Robert Culver, two sisters, Gladys Austin and Thelma Strickland.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan McGlothren(Chuck); a son, Dewey Emfinger (Teresa) all of Enterprise, AL; 6 grandchildren, Christa Gamble (Phillip); Melanie Campbell (Jeffrey); Jana Emfinger; Keyanna Mitchell (Doug); Angie Brown; Josh Brown; 9 great-grandchildren, Lawson and Sarah Cate Gamble; Anna and John Clark Campbell; Jasmine Brown; Lailyn Medley; Kaylee Crook; BlakeleeBrown; Elliana Mitchell; a special friend and caregiver, Amanda Perry (Chuck) .
