Johnny Ray (JR) Meredith, age 63, of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his home.  He was born September 6, 1958 in Enterprise.

The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home in Enterprise on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  A graveside service will be held at Meadowlawn Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Meredith and Elise Martin (Donald). his paternal grandparents, Votie Lewis and Lena Iva Meredith, his maternal grandparents, Broadus and Mary Helen Norton and his bonus grandfather, Phillip Glenn Howell (Pa).

Survivors include his brother, Lester Meredith (Amy); a niece, Shay Overton (Wes); beloved friend of ten years, Leslie Haynes and her children, Harlee and Maggie Haynes, grandchild, Amelia Haynes; bonus grandmother, Shirley Howell (Nanny); several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Leon Bowden and Jessie Schultz.
