Joseph Andrew DeSilva of Jack, AL, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Southeast Health in Dothan. He was 75 years old.

There are no public services scheduled at this time.

Survivors include his wife Kathy DeSilva; a daughter Theresa; three sons Joey DeSilva (Tori) of Pennsylvania, Steven DeSilva (Julie) of Pennsylvania, and Al Valle (Rebecca) of Jack, AL; another daughter Christine Shewbrooks and her friend Sue. Additional survivors include his grandchildren Gregory, Caitlin, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Natalie, Aliyah, Kelley, Jonathan, Erin, and Moira; and great-grandchildren Brian, Rosemary, Nicolas, Kennedi, and Alexandria.

Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up on the shores of Shipbottom, NJ. He was a lover of the seas and the beach from a very young age. He loved Star Wars and the Blues Brothers. He was the dad and g-pop who had a gadget for anything you needed. He loved his family and his dog Happy.
