Joseph Fate Brown, 65, of Abbeville passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Medical Center Barbour.

Services will be 7 pm Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Thompson officiating. Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown was born March 14, 1947 in Chattanooga, TN and lived the early part of his life there. He moved to Dothan in the early 1970's and was employed with Dothan Nissan for over 15 years and later with Jack Ingram in Montgomery for 6 years. He has resided in Abbeville for the past 2 years.

Survivors include a son Jeffrey Fate Brown of Dothan; a daughter Brandi Brown of Prattville; 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Harrison, and Kennedy Brown; brothers, Don (Penny) Brown of Natchitoches, LA, and Dallas (Phoebe) Brown of Abbeville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
