Jody Stuckey of New Brockton, AL, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home.  He was 52.

             Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Christ Community Church of God with Rev. Johnny Bryant and Rev. Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 7 PM.

             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Jody Stuckey Memorial Fund, benefiting the New Brockton Parks and Recreation Department. The fund is set up at Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union in Enterprise, AL,  in honor of his life-long dedication to the New Brockton sports and recreation programs.

             Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Hudson Stuckey, New Brockton, AL; daughter, Vannessa Leigh Stuckey, New Brockton, AL; son, Joseph Channon Stuckey, New Brockton, AL; sister, Diann Scherer, New Brockton, AL; brother, Tommy Stuckey, New Brockton, AL; nieces and nephews, Sean Stuckey, Danny Stuckey, Jimmy Brannom, Hope Speigner, Amanda Stuckey, Susie Stuckey, Josh Stuckey.
