MIDLAND CITY. . .Joseph John Jezewski, Sr., a resident of Midland City, died late Sunday afternoon, February 18, 2024, at his home. He was 87.

            There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Jezewski was born and reared in Elyria, Ohio, son of the late Anthony John Jezewski and Stella Agnes Vavzinsak Jezewski. He attended Wallace Community College. Mr. Jezewski lived in Napier Field and Newville before moving to Midland City in 2010. He was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. Mr. Jezewski was formerly employed by Prometric Testing Center in Dothan. In earlier years, he was employed as a Helicopter Instructor at Ft. Rucker and as a pilot for Napier Air Service. Mr. Jezewski was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Culpepper Jezewski, a son, Joseph John Jezewski, Jr., and three brothers, Larry Jezewski, Tony Jezewski and John Jezewski.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Teresa Ann Cline (Kenneth), Midland City; a brother, Tommy Jezewski (Barb), Elyria, Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler Cline and Lauren Cline Tidwell (Lance); great-grandchildren, Brody Herndon, Peyton Herndon and Jaxson Tidwell.
