Joshua “Josh” Keith Jones, of Samson, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, at the age of 37.

Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 and continue until service time.

Josh was born March 27, 1984 in Geneva, AL to Billy Keith Jones and Anna Maria Weeks. Josh loved his family and was a devoted husband and father to his daughter, Emma, who was his heart.  He enjoyed reading, gaming and he was a hard worker; enjoyed working as an aircraft technician and aspired to one day be a pilot.  He was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his Grandparents; Donald and Terrell Jean Weeks and Barbara Wood.

He is survived by his wife; Jennie Franks Jones, Samson, AL; one daughter: Emma, Samson, AL; mother: Anna Wood (Robin) Samson, AL; Father Keith Jones, Chancellor, AL; grandparents: Ned and Glenda Jones, Chancellor, AL: Edna Weeks, Samson, AL, Nick Wood, Samson, AL:  mother and father-in-law; Donna and James Exum, Hahira, GA; two brothers: Joseph Jones (Crystal)  Samson, AL and Dillon Jones, Chancellor, AL; one sister; Jordan Jones Cooper (Shannon), Samson, AL; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family; and his Best Friend : Jason Miller of Coffee Springs, AL.
