Mrs. Joyce Gail Cooper of Enterprise, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at her residence. She was 75.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Brett Cooper and Rev. Joel Snell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Sorrells Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 until 7 pm.

 

Mrs. Cooper was born October 5, 1936 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Gamblin. Her husband of 47 years, Herbert Cooper, preceded her in death in 1999.

 

Survivors include 2 daughters: Shelia McKenzie (Wayne), Dothan, AL, Elisha Anderson (John), Burlington, WI, 2 sons: Darwin Cooper (Lillie). Tony Cooper (Gwen) all of Enterprise, AL step mother: Opal Gamblin,  Clarksville, TN, sisters: Linda Welborn, Clarksville, TN and Lillian Riggs, Orlando, FL, brother: Thomas “Buddy” Gamblin (Carolyn), Evansville, IN, grandchildren, Darla Silavent (Ronnie), Gayla Land (David), Joyce Marie Cooper, Ashlee Garner (Clay), Justin Minadeo, Ashley Dorough (John Mark) and Chris Cooper, great grandchildren: Jason Silavent (Kyli), Mason Silavent, Taylor Rester, Thomas James Cooper, John David Land and Ella Grace Garner, great great granddaughter: McKenna Grace Silavent, special friend: Tom Measles, Enterprise, nieces and nephews.
