Jozan T. Plaza of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was 66 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Thames officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Jozan was born on July 9, 1954 to the late Leamon Randolph and Wauree Mae Pippin Thames. Jozan was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a very outgoing person who loved people, and singing, but God and her family held the most important place in her heart. She excelled at crafting and was a phenomenal seamstress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Y. Plaza; one brother, Gerald Max Thames; one sister, Lawanda Gayle Thames.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Smith (David) of Enterprise, AL; one son, Robert Chad Gautney of Samson, AL; three grandchildren, Alexis Nicole Johnson (Chase) of Aurora, CO, Hannah Ashton Smith, and Charles Evan Smith both of Enterprise, AL; two great-grandchildren, Arkyn and Soren Johnson of Aurora, CO; three sisters, Carol Waller (Jeff) of Samson, AL, Peggy Faulk (Joe) of Troy, AL, and Tonya Hillman (Roger) of Leesville, LA; two brothers, Gary Thames (Joy) of Samson, AL, and Ron Thames (Johnnie) of Freeport, FL; and many special nieces and nephews.
