MIDLAND CITY. . .Judy Bess Isler, a resident of Midland City, entered into the Gates of Heaven, Sunday, October 2, 2022, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Mike Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.

Judy Isler was born and reared in Dothan but lived most of her lifetime in Midland City. After retirement of twenty-nine years with Michelin Tire Corporation, she enjoyed numerous NASCAR races while pulling for her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. Judy also loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves and the Alabama Crimson Tide. She loved her flowers and would go outside every morning to adore her beautiful blooms. Judy was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sylvester Bess, her mother, Lois Skinner Hughes, a sister, Carolyn Harper, a brother, Gregory Bess, and a granddaughter, Kim Douglas.

Surviving relatives include her loving husband of thirty-four years, Randall Isler, two daughters, Sherry Douglas (Tim), Dothan; and Amber Isler Dillard, Midland City; two sisters, Shirley Brookins, Dothan; and Cindy Perry (Michael), Echo Community; four grandchildren, Ashley Corbin (Shane), Hailey Stephens, Trevor Stephens (Leslie), and Tanner Dillard, a great-granddaughter, Kimberly Corbin, several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Shane Corbin, Mike Perry, Johnny Isler, Terry Knight and Marion Spivey.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Kathy, Kaye and Jon Isler for the being with family every step of the way.
