Carol Quattlebaum, age 62 of Kinsey passed away Friday morning September7, 2018 at her home.



Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday September 11, 2018 in the Chapel of the Angels at Family First Funeral Care with Pastor Joel Laseter of Webb Baptist Church officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. Tuesday until service time.



Carol was born in Corona, Ca., and moved to Louisville, AL where she spent her early years and youth.  She was an honor graduate of Dixie Academy in Louisville where she excelled in sports especially basketball and softball and continued to play softball well after her high school days.  Carol was an active member of Louisville Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the youth choir.  She moved to the Dothan and Kinsey area in 1981 where she lived until her death.  She had formerly worked at Deli-n-Delights in Dothan and made many friendships there.  Most recently she had worked in the lunchroom at Webb Elementary School. Carol was a member of Kinsey Baptist Church and was an avid University of Alabama football fan, Roll Tide!  She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Beaty.



Survivors include her son, Heath (fiancée’ Kelly) Quattlebaum of Malvern, her daughter Mary Rachel Quattlebaum of Kinsey, a brother Larry (Rebekah) Quattlebaum of Malone, FL, 4 sisters Sue (Johnnie) Golden of Slocomb, Janet (Kenny) Everett of Kinsey, Ellen Sinclair of Cottonwood and Charlotte (Dave) Quattlebaum of Abbeville, 4 grandchildren Troy Quattlebaum, Damien Bach, Dani Quattlebaum and Sterling Heath Quattlebaum, Jr, numerous nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.



 Carol would help anybody in need the best she could. Even after her death, Carol got to give back by being an eye and tissue donor.
