Judy Carol Womack Snell, of Carrollton, Georgia and a former resident of Dothan and Cottonwood, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 in Carrollton, Georgia. She was 75.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Pastor Troy West officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. prior to service time.

Mrs. Snell was born April 6, 1948 in Dothan to John and Evelyn Womack. She grew up in Cottonwood and graduated from Cottonwood High School. She was a homemaker and was employed as a floral designer for several years. While raising Jeremy, she was very active in all of his school activities and influential in his learning piano and participating in the band. He thinks of her every time he sits down to a piano now to play, some three decades later. Mrs. Snell was of the Baptist faith.

She is predeceased by her parents and her husband of 48 years, Gerald D. Snell.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy Snell (Rodney Linebarger) of Royalton, Minnesota; a granddaughter Nava Sophia Snell of Royalton, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab for the compassionate care given to their loved one.
