Judy L Cole moved on to heaven to be with the Lord on June 24th, 2019 at Flowers Hospital after battling an extended illness.


Judy was born June 13, 1949 in Osaka, Japan to LTC Arthur J Lane and Eunice Hazel Lane. She graduated from Dothan High class of 1967, and after traveling, settled back down in Dothan where she worked at Eye Center South for nearly 30 years. She was a doting and loyal mother whose sons and grandchildren filled her world.


As well as her parents, she will be heavenly reunited with her beloved husband James Andrew (Andy) Cole. She is survived by her sons, Tony Veara (and his wife Leigh Grooms-Veara), Rustin Mcardle, and David Cole. She has five wonderful grandchildren, Amanda Howell, James Veara, Hunter Grooms-Veara, Maura McArdle, and Erin McArdle. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Beth Harrison.


Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial on Friday, 28th, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at New Hinson Baptist Church, 1143 co rd 48, Slocomb, Al., at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider visiting this Go Fund Me site, https://www.gofundme.com/n8452h-in-lieu-of-flowers
