Julia DiAnne Beard of Vestavia Hills, AL passed away at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2020. She was 72 years old.

A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Beasock officiating.

DiAnne was born in Enterprise, AL on June 5, 1948 to the late Clifford Jones and Alma Lois Jones Caylor. DiAnne lived and attended school in Geneva, AL. After graduating from Troy University, she taught school in Ponce de Leon, Florida, and in Geneva, AL before accepting employment with the Birmingham area school system. She resided in the Birmingham area for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Buck.

She is survived by one brother, Clifford “Bill” Jones and wife, Brenda of Geneva, AL; two nephews; and several great nephews and great nieces.
