OZARK. . .June Davis Brown, a resident of Ozark, died late Wednesday night, January 12, 2022, at her home. She was 83.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Memory Hill Cemetery, Dothan, with Pastor Jerry Walker officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

            Mrs. Brown was born and reared in Dothan, daughter of the late Webb Davis and Dovie Lewis Davis. She lived in Dothan and Houston, Texas, before moving to Ozark in 1996. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Ozark Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Glenn Brown, a son, James Webster Brown, four sisters, Eudean Speigner, Earlene Teston, Lena Morris and Esther Lynn and two brothers, Dan Davis and Winston Davis.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Elizabeth “Liz” Martin (Danny), Ozark; and Nancy Dunham (Jim), Sugarland , TX; two sons, Buddy Brown, Ozark; and Daniel Brown (fiance’), Tanya Cormier), Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Davis Dunham, Grace Dunham and Bradley Brown; three sisters, Katreen Thomas, Dothan; Judy Snyder, Dothan; and Ann Walker (Jerry), North Carolina; and three brothers, Jack Davis, Panama City, FL; Joe Davis (Mary), Malvern, Al and Wendell Davis (Ann), Dothan; numerous nieces and nephews.
